About The Event
Begin the night with a Victorian Séance, then explore the Old Prison, Cells, Court Room, Tower and Cellar. Reputed to be haunted you will be sure to stumble upon spectres and spirits as the night draws in, complete your adventure with the rest of the night in an original prison cell...sleep if you dare...only 12 places available for this exclusive experience.
Your host Ross Andrews has written many books on the paranormal, appeared on TV and Radio as a paranormal investigator as well as contributed to many TV shows, and magazine articles on parapsychology.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to the first ever Victorian Séance and haunted cell sleepovers at The Old Prison.
As you are already aware, it is a very old historic building and as such requires our utmost respect and appreciation. We are very fortunate to have permission to explore it overnight, it is an exciting and unique opportunity.
There will be drinks and light snacks to purchase onsite before 11pm. Feel free to bring your own refreshments. There will be the use of kettles for hot drinks and microwaves for warm food.
Please wear practical and comfortable clothing and footwear, parts of the prison can be very cold and there are narrow stairwells in parts of the building and please note wheelchair access is impossible in certain areas.
For the sleepover there are two original cell beds still in situ. We will supply camp style beds to make up the numbers. It will be two persons per cell.
